Sunday P.R.E.P. is a weekly tool designed to enhance our Sunday gatherings at Redemption Hill. As we individually pray, reflect, expect and pursue, God will prepare us for his great work in our worship together.
Ask God to prepare your heart to worship him as we consider what it looks like to be "For the City" by serving the city. Pray for humble and eager hearts who enjoy putting others before ourselves.
Read the words of Luke 22:24-27: "A dispute also arose among them, as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest. And he said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves."
Reflect on the phrase: "let the greatest among you become as the youngest."
It was a great celebration last week, considering God's work the first five years of our church. What do expect the next five years to look like? How will you help impact the next five years by the way you come to worship each week. Will you worship with unrestrained passion? Will you encourage others through your kindness? Will you grow and be changed, so that you can bring God's change to others?
Perhaps there is a friend who you invited to join us for Easter or our Anniversary Service but couldn't make it those weeks. Why don't you reach out and see if they can you this week? It's going to be a beautiful day! Sunny and warming up! Start it with your friends who make up RHC!
